The IRCM’s Terms, Conditions, and Toolkit for all currently LISTED Organisations and Individuals only allows the organisation/individual to link to the Directory on which their LISTED entry is displayed.

This is everything they have determined is needed to help market, publicise, and promote them and their organisation effectively.

1. Conditions for individuals and organisations LISTED on one or more of the IRCM CIC’s Directories.

All individuals and organisations that are LISTED on one or more of the IRCM’s Directories have selected NOT to demonstrate their commitment to excellence.

Each individual or organisation LISTED on one or more of the IRCM CIC’s Directories agrees to comply with the Toolkit listed below.

Under no circumstances will the individual or organisation imply IRCM CIC approval or suggest that they are in partnership with the IRCM CIC.

In the event of any grievance, dispute, or formal complaint, the IRCM CIC uses the Ombudsman Service.

All grievance, dispute, or formal complaint will be dealt with respectfully in the first instance using the facilitation process.  The Ombudsman Service will ensure that there is no conflict of interest. Should facilitation not provide a satisfactory outcome for both parties, a formal complaints procedure exists to protect both yourself, the IRCM CIC, and all consumers.

2. Toolkit for individuals and organisations LISTED on one or more of the IRCM CIC’s Directories.

The International Regulator of Coaching and Mentoring CIC, also known as IRCM is recognised internationally for its work to promote excellence in Coaching and Mentoring, in order that the consumers benefit from high quality services and products within the coaching and mentoring industry.

As a LISTED organisation or individual on the IRCM’s Directory you can use the IRCM’s name in full or abbreviated on your website (linking back to your entry), to raise your own profile, increase your credibility, and promote your organisation.  Please send a copy of all links where you use the IRCM’s name on your website to compliance@IRCM-CIC.org to confirm validity of using the IRCM’s name.

Consumers linking back to the IRCM’s Directory will be notified that you or your organisation has not selected to demonstrate their commitment to excellence by REGISTERING on the IRCM’s Directory.

You do not have the authority to use the IRCM’s name on certificates – membership, training, etc.

If you are unsure of your use of the IRCM’s name, please email compliance@IRCM-CIC.org.

    • IRCM Listed Mentor
    • IRCM Listed Coach and Mentor
  4. Each use of the name must link back to the relevant IRCM’s Directory.
  5. The IRCM’s name is not your branding, therefore the use of the name must accurate as a recognition of your or your organisations listing on the IRCM Directory.
  6. It is important that you represent your listing on the IRCM Directory accurately, and that you are not suggesting that you or your organisation is in partnership with the IRCM.
  7. You are required to send the links where you use the name on your website or any internet materials; to compliance@IRCM-CIC.org to confirm the validity of using the IRCM’s name.
  8. Any misuse of the IRCM’s name will ensure that your listing on the IRCM Directory is removed, and may only be reinstated once the misuse has been resolved.

As a LISTED organisation or individual with a current listing on the IRCM’s Directory, you can represent yourself by describing your status with the IRCM and linking your website back to the relevant IRCM Directory.  Your IRCM Directory status may not be used on your stationery, or on other promotional materials to raise your own profile, increase your credibility, and promote your organisation.

Consumers linking back to the IRCM’s Directory will be notified that you or your organisation has not selected to demonstrate their commitment to excellence by REGISTERING on the IRCM’s Directory.

Where you select to use your status on your website, please send a copy of all links to compliance@IRCM-CIC.org to confirm the validity of using the IRCM’s Directory status.

It is important that when a Consumer does their due-diligence that they are not faced with confusion.

For this reason, it is expected that you and your organisation will maintain consistency across all platforms in:

  • your name,
  • your organisation’s name, and
  • for Self-Certification of courses and/or workshops, your course/workshop name.

This means that this name must be found across all platforms, from the IRCM’s Directories, through your website, marketing materials, training materials, exhibition materials, and everything and anything in between.

    Please note that these may change and it is your responsibility to be aware of the current terms and conditions.
  2. It is recognised that individuals names may change, but where this change occurs and the individual chooses to change their name for business purposes, it is a requirement that the name is changed on the IRCMs Directory, the individual’s website, and all other marketing, exhibition, etc. materials.
    It is recognised that the individual may confirm their change of name in the text, showing their previous name.
  3. It is recognised that organisations (Formal Education Bodies, Private Commercial Training Organisations, Professional Bodies, Support Groups, etc.) may select to trade under a different name to that of their legally registered name.
    • It is important that both names appear on the IRCM’s Directory, the organisation’s website, and all other marketing, exhibition, etc. materials.
    • Where an individual or organisation is not formally registered but trades under a trading name or their own name, it is important that they are consistent with one or both names on the IRCM’s Directory, their website, and all other marketing, exhibition, etc. materials.
  4. The IRCM provides all Registered Formal Education Bodies, Registered Private Commercial Training Organisations, and Registered Coaches/Mentors who provide training with the opportunity to Self-Certify their courses and/or workshops.  It is important that the course or workshop name registered for self-certification is the same as registered on the organisations/individuals website and training certificates issued.
  5. It is important that you represent your entry on the IRCM Directory accurately, and that you are not suggesting that you or your organisation is in partnership with the IRCM.
  6. You are required to send the links where you use your IRCM Directory entry on your website or any internet materials; to compliance@IRCM-CIC.org to confirm the validity of using the IRCM’s logo.
  7. Where you have gained explicit authority to use the IRCM’s Directory entry on certificates – membership, training, etc. – you are required to submit a template for approval.
  8. Any confusion through the lack of consistency will ensure that your entry on the IRCM Directory is removed, and may only be reinstated once the confusion has been resolved.

A code of ethics sets out the values and conduct that underpin the obligation of each organisation and individual within the coaching and mentoring industry.

This starts with the IRCM and goes through each different type of organisation, coach and mentor within this industry.

To assist consumers (also known as buyers or end-users) buying the products and services provided by each organisation and individual within the coaching and mentoring industry, the IRCM has created a number of codes including a consumers’ guideline.

As a LISTED organisation or individual you have not selected to demonstrate your commitment to excellence in the coaching and mentoring industry by agreeing to abide by:

The IRCM recommends that you include a link to these in your material, so that your consumers fully understand what you have not committed to.

3. Terms for individuals and organisations LISTED on one or more of the IRCM CIC’s Directories.

All individuals and organisations within the Coaching and Mentoring industry may select to LIST their details on one or more of the IRCM’s Directories.

Where you do not comply with the Terms, Conditions, and Toolkit you will be contacted and if not resolved, your entry will be removed from the IRCM Directory, and may only be reinstated once the reason has been resolved.
