The IRCM’s Star System is based on facts provided by the consumers; who, in this case, are the members (coaches, mentors, training organisations) of the Professional Body.

With so many Professional Organisations representing themselves in the coaching and mentoring industry; the consumers are having challenges finding the right Professional Organisation to join.  It can also be difficult for the coaches, mentors, and training organisations (in other words, consumers) wanting to join; to understand the difference between the different products that are offered.

Star Ratings are provided by the consumers.  They are not a validation of the service or services provided but are simply the opinion of another person who has used the service or services offered by the Professional Organisation.  It is the recommendation of the IRCM, for any Professional Organisation joined; that the consumer has done their own due-diligence.

The IRCM encourages the clients and students of the Professional Body members to provide input into the IRCM’s Star System.

Although the IRCM can confirm the register status of each Professional Body, the detail held for those Professional Bodies included as ACCREDITED or REGISTERED was correct at the time of application or renewal and it is the responsibility of the Professional Body to provide regular updates as necessary.  For this reason, the IRCM cannot guarantee the information displayed on record is current and up-to-date.  The extent to which you may rely on the information displayed to be correct is in the hands of the Professional Body.

Each Professional Body who applies to join this register, or is found through research undertaken by the IRCM will be identified through one of three ways – ACCREDITED, REGISTERED, or LISTED.

Consumers for Professional Bodies are generally considered to be their members (coaches, mentors, and private commercial training organisations) and this register provides those consumers with a single place for transparency and openness.

Consumers of Coaches, Mentors, and Private Commercial Training Organisations will be able to utilise this register as part of their due-diligence when researching who to work with (coach and/or mentor) or which course to study.  If the Professional Body is not Registered or Accredited, the IRCM cannot provide validation that the coach and/or mentor and/or private commercial training organisation abides by the Coaching and Mentoring Industry Codes.
