The Benefits for Professional Bodies joining the IRCM in their remit to building trust, confidence, and excellence in the coaching or mentoring industry is one of credibility and demonstrating their authority as a thought leader representing the Industry in their participation in the Advisory Steering Committees.
Each Professional Body:
- demonstrates that as a Professional Body, they and their members have committed to building trust, confidence, and excellence in the coaching or mentoring industry through their inclusion on the Directory.
- is focused on helping consumers of the coaching and mentoring industry make better informed decisions.
- agrees to abide by:
- Unified Code of Industry Ethics,
- Unified Industry Core Competencies,
- Disciplinary Procedures.
- recognise the coaching and mentoring industry Ombudsman Service.
- nominates individuals to represent all members (coaches, mentors, private commercial training organisations) of the Professional Body, to actively participate in the future development of the coaching and mentoring industry by actively participating on the following IRCM’s Advisory Steering Committees:
- Individual Suppliers (Coaches and/or Mentors)
- Education (Private Commercial Training Organisations)
- Organisation (the professional operation and conduct of Coach, Mentor, and all Coaching and/or Mentoring Organisations).
- provides an accreditation/credential to support the excellence of the coaches and mentors in the industry.
- provides an accreditation/credential to support the excellence of the private commercial training organisations in the industry.
- provides the consumers with one place to verify the standards, ethics and core competencies of all accredited/credentialed:
- coaches,
- mentors,
- coaches and mentors, and
- private commercial training organisations.
- provides clarity for the consumers.
- actively works with the IRCM to improve confidence with the consumers in the international community of coaching and mentoring.
- brings this industry together for the common good of the consumer.

INITIAL APPLICATION FEE:
REGISTERED = £840.00, plus:
- £1.20 per individual member
- £5.00 per training organisation
ACCREDITATION = Registered + £740.40
Re-accreditation is required every 5 years.
RENEWAL
Please note – renewal fees are charged on each anniversary of registering and/or accreditation application.
REGISTERED = £600.00, plus:
- £1.20 per individual member
- £5.00 per training organisation
ACCREDITATION = Registered + £740.40
Re-accreditation is required every 5 years, unless it is determined that a re-accreditation is required more frequently i.e. if the accreditation/credential requirements change.

This single central unified directory is provided for the benefit of the consumers, and each directory provides details of all Organisations/Individuals who demonstrate their commitment to excellence in the coaching and mentoring industry:
- LISTED by the IRCM provides the consumers with a list of all Organisations and Individuals trading in the coaching and mentoring industry who have not selected to demonstrate their commitment to excellence.
- REGISTERED by the IRCM demonstrates that the each Organisation or Individual who selects to REGISTER, provides a level of commitment to excellence by demonstrating that they have agreed to abide by the Unified Code of Industry Ethics, Unified Industry Core Competencies, Disciplinary Procedures, and an Ombudsman Service for Consumers.
- ACCREDITED – Accreditation is available to all Professional Bodies who register with the IRCM and in addition to their commitment of REGISTERING, Accreditation provides an additional level of professionalism, accountability and a level of confidence through the IRCM’s verification of the services provided by a Professional Body for its members.
