Who are the Coaching and/or Mentoring Industry Consumers?

ConsumersEach Directory is for the benefit of the Consumers; whether the consumer is a:

  1. CLIENT of a Coach and/or Mentor,
    .
    Consumers of Coaches and/or Mentors are generally considered to be their Clients and the Coaches and/or Mentors Directory provides those consumers with a single place for transparency and openness.
    .
    Consumers of Coaches and/or Mentors will be able to utilise this Directory as part of their due-diligence when researching who to work with.
    .
  2. STUDENT of a Formal Education Body,
    .
    A Consumer of a Formal Education Body is generally considered to be their students, tutors/trainers, staff; and the Education Directory provides those consumers (specifically students) wishing to train as a coach and/or mentor with a single place for transparency and openness.
    .
    Consumers of Formal Education Bodies will be able to utilise this Directory as part of their due-diligence when researching and selecting who to train with.
    .
  3. STUDENT of a Private Commercial Training Organisation,
    .
    A Consumer of a Private Commercial Training Organisation is generally considered to be their students, tutors/trainers, staff; and the Education Directory provides those consumers (specifically students) wishing to train as a coach and/or mentor with a single place for transparency and openness.
    .
    Consumers of Private Commercial Training Organisations will be able to utilise this Directory as part of their due-diligence when researching and selecting who to train with.
    .
  4. MEMBER of a Professional Body
    .
    Consumers of Professional Bodies are generally considered to be their members (coaches, mentors, and private commercial training organisations) and the Professional Body Directory provides those consumers with a single place for transparency and openness.
    .
    Consumers of Coaches, Mentors, and Private Commercial Training Organisations will be able to utilise this Directory as part of their due-diligence when researching who to work with (coach and/or mentor) or which course to study.
    .
    If the Professional Body is not Registered or Accredited, the IRCM cannot provide validation that the Professional Body, coach and/or mentor and/or private commercial training organisation works within the industry definitions, guidelines, or abides by the Unified Coaching and Mentoring Industry Codes of Conduct.
    .
  5. MEMBER of a Commercial OrganisationThere are two types of Commercial Organisations:
    1. Some Commercial Organisations outside the coaching and mentoring industry employ Coaches and/or Mentors; either as member of their own staff or on contract.
    2. Other Commercial Organisations employ Coaches and/or Mentors and in the same way that an employment agency works, these Coaches and/or Mentors will be sub-contracted to clients.

Consumers of Commercial Organisations may be a member of their Board, Leadership Team, or Staff; or may be an individual that has selected to work with a member of the Commercial Organisation.

Consumers of Commercial Organisations will be able to utilise the IRCM CIC’s Directory as part of their due-diligence when researching the Coach and/or Mentor who has been allocated to them.

Although there are many benefits to the consumer, the IRCM CIC provides each Consumer with transparency and openness in its single unified directory.

Where the Organisation, Coach, and/or Mentor is not REGISTERED, nor found on the IRCM CIC’s Directory; the IRCM cannot confirm that they have to protect their consumers; nor build trust, confidence, and excellence in the industry.
